SUMMER

  • For their own safety and that of other users, pets are not allowed on the trail.
  • You will find numerous picnic areas all along the P’tit Train. It is possible for you to bring a lunch, therefore, we ask you to bring back any refuse and recycle thereby keeping the premises clean.
  • Active listening to your surroundings helps hearing other cyclists. Avoid using headphones. Nature emits such pretty sounds!

winter

  • When properly equipped you will realize how pleasant walking in the winter can be. So pull out mittens, tuques, and scarves and come walk the pathway located on the west side of the trail in the Saint-Jérôme / Val-David sector Km (0,3 at km 44,6).
  • In the Saint-Faustin to Mont-Tremblant sector (km 70,5 at 99, 3), a corridor is shared with « fatbikes » on the west side of the path. Do not go in the middle of the path, this section is reserved for skate skiers;
  • Not allowed on the trail: Pets are not allowed except for guide and assistance dogs which are welcome;
  • IMPORTANT, never walk in the center of the trail and in classic ski rails;                                                 Follow the corridors indicated on the signs. Courtesy is required.

Trail conditions

🔔 Partial trail opening

The recent warm weather followed by a return to colder temperatures does not yet allow for the opening of new sections.

The segments between Prévost (km 14) and Mont-Laurier (km 201) remain closed. Several patches of snow and ice are still present along the trail, as shown in the photos. Using these sections poses safety risks.

Thank you for your patience. Our teams continue to monitor conditions closely to ensure a safe reopening as soon as possible. More stable spring conditions are expected soon.

A partial opening is now possible between the Prévost train station and Bois-des-Filion (km 14 to km 32 – south section) 🚴‍♂️

⚠️ However, caution is advised:
• Maintenance crews are currently working to clear gravel and sand accumulations in certain areas
• In stone dust sections, some wet and muddy patches may still be present and can be slippery

🚫 Please do not use other sections. Inspections have not yet been completed, some ice patches remain, and wet areas are fragile. Riding on them can create ruts that require repair work.

We encourage you to adjust your riding and reduce your speed 🙏

Reminder of our code of conduct:
• Ride at a reasonable speed
• Announce when passing
• Ride in single file
• Move to the side when stopping
• Slow down in busier areas
