A new series of ski tours in the Laurentian Mountains combine rigorous days of cross-country skiing with overnight stays (and meals) at local inns.

Skiing from town to town through forests and meadows, then overnighting near the trail in relative luxury, was something I had never experienced in North America.

  • Monday, December 15: grooming and track setting late in the day

In winter, the P’tit Train du Nord Corporation is responsible for managing only the section between Saint-Jérôme (116th Avenue, km 4.4) and Sainte-Agathe (Préfontaine Park, km 46 in Sainte-Agathe
